Activities

It has long been a trend of G. D. Goenka School to detect the qualities present within a student in rudimentary state and furnish them to give it flying colours. The school organizes many events and extra co-curricular activities from time to time which involves the presentation of some of the wonderful abilities of a student.

The School firmly believes that textual studies are only but a part of the full development of a child and therefore provides a spectrum of in house activities. The main thrust of activities at Goenks’s are visualized to promote the development of a balanced and harmonious personality development of the students including physical, practical, aesthetic, moral and intellectual aspects.

We cater to the specific hobby related needs by conducting activity/hobby classes so that every child is able to participate in the field of choice to her heart content. He/She can develop her ability through a variety of activities such as Martial art, dance, Judo Karate, Gardening and Swimming.

Magazine and News Letters :
Periodical school updates, the Kaleidoscope and News Letters will be produced to develop the writing skills of the students and keep the parents informed of the activities and achievement of their children.
Library and Internet Lab :

The school will have the state – of the – art computerized e – library which will be well stocked with a wide collection of books and CD’s on a variety of subjects. There will be individual work – stations where each computer will be connected to the internet for reference work and projects. Two surveillance stations will be monitoring the students’ stations to ensure that undesirable sites are not explored.

Laboratories :

The school will have a composite Science Lab equipped with best material and tools. Science classes will be conducted in the laboratories in a scientific ambiance. The school will have large well – equipped laboratories for Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology etc with ultra modern facilities.

Robotics :
Youngsters recently had some interactive experiences with advanced robotics technology at G. D. GOENKA. Students learn at an early age through advanced facilities designed by the educationists and the researchers. This encourages them to become future robotics engineers. The junior classes learn the basics by making models with the help of robotics kits.
Equestrian :
Equestrianism refers to the skill of riding, driving, or vaulting with horses. This broad description includes the use of horses for practical working purposes, recreational activities, artistic or cultural exercises and sports. The school maintain horses and well qualified riding instructor and coaches. Students join the riding club and win prizes at National and International level.
